Description Tamiya RC 1/10 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R TT-01 Chassis TYPE-E 47430 New [ High-Performance Mustang with a Massive Form ] Since its debut in 1964, the Ford Mustang has become an icon of American sports cars. Among the various models, the high-performance version known as the Mustang SVT Cobra R, produced in 1995 with only 250 units, stands out as a base machine for racing. It features a 5.8-liter V8 engine with a maximum output of 300 horsepower and a prominently raised FRP hood. This model participated in many IMSA races in the USA and achieved notable success. The electric radio-controlled car assembly kit faithfully reproduces this massive and popular 2-door coupe body in polycarbonate, already painted in metallic blue with smoked windows. The door mirrors and rear wing are separate parts, enhancing the model's realism. Additionally, stickers are provided for details such as the "COBRA R" logo on the front edge of the hood and the strobe stripes along the body sides. [ Enhanced Performance with the TT-01 TYPE-E Shaft-Driven 4WD Chassis ] The chassis employs the TT-01 TYPE-E, a shaft-driven 4WD system with a longitudinal motor layout, known for its ease of assembly and excellent maintainability. The mainframe is a bathtub type, equipped with an upper deck and gear cover made of glass fiber-reinforced nylon resin, ensuring high chassis rigidity. The three-piece steering system minimizes play and ensures smooth movement. Coupled with a low center of gravity, well-balanced body structure, double wishbone 4-wheel independent suspension, and front and rear differential gears, the chassis provides highly controllable handling characteristics. The 5-spoke silver-plated wheels with realistic tread pattern hollow rubber tires add to the model's aesthetic and functional appeal. Additionally, numerous optional parts (sold separately) are available for the TT-01 TYPE-E, allowing for further performance enhancements.
