Description

This is what I believe to be a sand casted mold of a head/bust figurine of the head of Paul Revere. This is stamped Redford Foundry Products on the reverse side. Sand casted molds are created for the casting of metal products. This sandy-textured and gritty mold is copper-colored with a sparkly or metallic finish. It measures approximately 6 1/2" tall and is about 4 1/3" across when measured at the corners of the tricorn hat. Nicely detailed down to the eye pupils, eyebrows, neck cravat, and hair wig that peeks out from beneath the tricorn hat. Bottom says "PAUL REVERE." Has a small break/chip in casting mold at bottom front edge and some wear on top of hat but otherwise in very good condition. A scarce item. Sale final; no return. Thanks for looking!
